Do you have a dress code?

Canyon Creek has a nice relaxed atmosphere, so you won't need to be dressed up to golf here. We insist on shirts of course. You'll probably feel most comfortable if you are neatly, but casually dressed.

Is it noisy, being near the highway?

Not at all. Highway 12 is a quiet rural highway. You’ll have pavement all the way to the golf course, and a nice quiet time once you get there.

How can your course be good for both novices and experts?

Versatility! Novices can tee off from the red tees for a nine-hole round of 2434 yards. Experts can tee off from the blue tees and enjoy the same nine-hole round of 2877 yards. Yet, novices and experts can still enjoy a round of golf together.

How far from the campground to the golf course?

A very short walk.

Do you offer golf lessons?

Sorry. We don’t offer golf lessons at this time.

Do you need to make reservations for carts?

We recommend that you book your cart when you make your reservation.

How far to the nearest grocery store, gas bar, etc?

Rocky Mountain House has full facilities and it is an enjoyable 14km drive to town.

What is there for kids to do at your campground?

Golf! We welcome kids to come out and play golf, but our campground is provided for the convenience of our golfers. If kids aren’t golfing, then they can bring their own lawn games, etc, but we do not offer other recreational facilities.

Due to insurance requirements children under the age of 6 are not allowed on the course.

Are you allowed open fires at the campground?

Open fires are allowed, but only in the fire rings provided. Firewood is available for sale.

Is there a common septic tank facility where tanks can be dumped?

We offer a common drinking water fill and dumping station for your convenience. This facility is for registered guests only.

Do you allow tenting?

Sorry. We don’t offer facilities for tenting. Our campsites are set up for recreational vehicles only.

We like to get out into the country and party a bit. What’s with this ‘quiet time’ at 11:00 p.m?

No campground can be perfect for everyone. We’ve made the decision that Canyon Creek campground is for people who want to golf, relax and enjoy their sleep at night. Since that is what we have promised people, that is what we deliver. Quiet time is strictly enforced.
